These environmentally-friendly products are handmade by small community based groups using fair trade principles. Established in 2004 this project began to provide much needed income to a group of mothers with deaf and mute children, now the incorporated the company has grown to contain more than 80 women. These women work in 8 small groups, close to their homes, with each member owning a share of the company. Each group has the freedom to elect their own board member and contribute in all the company's decisions.
